As part of FP&A CoE, this role will be primary finance support for APJ Marketing business group.
This individual will be responsible for consolidating, reporting and leading all financial metrics of APJ Marketing Organization
What You'll Do:
As part of FP&A CoE, this role will be primary finance support for APJ Marketing business-group.
You will be responsible for consolidating, reporting and leading all financial metrics of APJ Marketing Organization.
Key responsibilities include:
Partner closely with the APJ Mktg and CMO business teams to be able to influence them towards financially sound decisions.
To handle the business & financial performance, all key Performance Metrics, headcount & Opex (incl Program budget management and PR approvals) to meet the overall Metrics target/budget.
Leading the HC budget and approving the requisitions after thorough scrutiny.
Reviewing the SOWs, approving PRs and accounting for accruals after ensuring that every transaction is within compliance framework.
Quarterly reconciliation of program spend against the budget allocations made.
Monthly flash spend submission to Central FP&A.
During planning cycle work with business teams on allocating the HC, Program spend, Travel and other allocations appropriately within the allocated budget.
Provide robust analytics to track financial performance and key financial metrics - Advisory support to leadership team on long term strategic decisions and execution of key business goals and initiatives.
Who You'll Work With:
Work seamlessly with CMO finance team and APJ Marketing operations team on financial deliverables for consolidation on global basis - Provide oversight on all financial policies, support Global Procurement audit/ Internal Investigation/ GRC audits and provide annual financial compliance training to APJ Mktg team - Drives fiscal year planning and budgeting process for the business group in collaboration with key partners,APJ’s FP&A team and CMO finance team.
Who You are:
Acting as the primary contact to APJ FP&A & CMO team in providing timely financial reporting, results, analysis, submissions, etc.
Participating as an extended member of the APJ FP&A team and FP&A CoE ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines, etc.. as well as bringing standard methodology to the business group
Assisting in providing helpful management decision support, driving key business goals, identify major trends and corresponding business issues Skills:
Very strong engagement, influencing and interpersonal skills, with ability to maintain relationships with the business partners - Excellent Presentation skills, with ability to present compelling executive level business case presentations
High degree of partnering skills: Personal integrity; work towards results; forward thinker; dedicated and cross functional thinker - Must have excellent analytical and systems skills, including sound finance and accounting knowledge, advanced excel skills and a working knowledge of various systems tools (Business Objects, Essbase, etc.) - Ability to participate/and demonstrate cross-functional and regional teams.
Maintains a high level of integrity and objectivity as well as championing Cisco's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics - Knowledgeable in Cisco’s various Go-To-Market strategies, a plus Education:
Bachelor or Master’s degree, with major in Finance, Economics or equivalent with 4-6 years of relevant experience.
Prior experience in large multinational company with exposure to various financial disciplines.
