What You'll Do

Provide technical and functional leadership for the Hyperflex engineering team at our Bangalore site. Primary responsibilities include: building a highly skilled and motivated team in the areas of storage management and storage-systems QA. Driving end-to-end product development processes from planning, resourcing, exeution and release deliverables in collaboration with the broader geophraphically diverse engineering and product management teams. Participate in continuous improvements in process, product features and product stability including customer escalations and patches to address field defects.

Who You'll Work

You will work with product management on functional specifications. You will work with tech leads and managers across the engineering organization, including UI, System Management, File System and QA to drive cross-functional deliverables per the product road-map. You will work product support organizations to manager customer escalations and drive bug-fix and patch releases. You will collaborate with replication engineering team members on design and implementation. As a member of an engineering team you will work collaboratively with other members of your team to deliver every day and continue to develop and enhance your expertise as a systems software engineer.

Who You Are

You have 8+ years of experience in design and development of scalable, resilient storage system software, especially in the System Management and UI areas. At least 2+ years of managing end-to-end development of storage systems products.

Experience in Distributed Systems and experience in virtualization technologies from VMware, HyperV and OpenStack is highly desirable.

Direct experience with IT industry standard project management processes such as Agile Development and project tracking tools is a must.

Proven track record in talent acquisition, retention and motivating high performance teams is a must.
