Position Scope

As a Program Manager, you will lead a highly visible, global program to raise the profile of Cisco as a committed partner to governments, businesses, and communities in the countries where we operate. This is a global initiative managed by the APJC region with collaboration across the regions.

You willinfluence a diverse set of stakeholders and work with cross-functional teams consisting of marketing, communications, government affairs, and sales/country leadership teams.You will own the program lifecycle from strategic planning to success metrics and work with cross-functional teams on data collection, marketing collateral, and communications activation.

Responsibilities

  • Create momentum behind National Engagement Strategy and drive alignment with other initiatives focused on company reputation and country digitization (e.g. North Stars, CDA).

  • Drive an effective framework for turning data into compelling, evidence-based narratives – with a global standard, regional guidance, and country localization.

  • Work with and represent a wide variety of stakeholders for a matrixed team environment.

  • Develop and manage multi-country program schedules, manage scope and resource changes, and monitor progress against plan.

  • Define and assess success metrics for the program. Ensure all necessary data are available for critical decision making.

  • .Communicate regularly to management on program status, and ensure effective communication within the cross-functional teams –marketing, communications, government affairs, and sales/country leadership teams. APJC communications deliverables as assigned by the leadership team

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a program management position, with knowledge orinterest in the CSR space

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills and the ability to work/influence with different levels of management

  • Exceptional team player with the ability to quickly develop and foster cross-functional relationships

  • Outstanding written, presentation, and verbal communication skills

  • Organized and detail-oriented; flexible, adaptable self-starter who learns quickly with minimal supervision
