Product Sales Specialist - Collaboration (CGEM Americas InBound)

What You'll Do

Joining the CGEM Americas Inbound Sales team, you will be integral and collaborative with local, regional and WW peers to help define the Collaboration Portfolio sales strategy, as well as own aspects of the strategic plan and associated execution to create and accelerate Cisco Collaboration Solutions pipeline.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define sales strategy, plan, develop, and manage the landscape for a subset of the Collaboration Solutions business, while executing Cisco's strategy and meeting Cisco's financial targets.

  • Be an integral part of the business planning process, ensure close interaction and collaboration with World Wide Solution peers, Regional Data Center leads, and Account teams on all aspects of running the Collaboration Solutions business.

  • Collaborate and build partnerships within Cisco to drive the agreed commercial strategy, have regular dialogue with local and regional teams to ensure buy-in with the go to market and sales solution strategy overall.

  • Drive partner development & enablement, as well as anticipate new types of partners required to build future pipeline.

  • Operate as part of an overall team responsible for the complete strategy, executing in conjunction with other solution specialists.

Who You Are

• 10+ years selling experience in a fast-growth, high-technology organization, with at least 2+ years proven track record in Unified Communications related solutions preferred.

• Work independently to meet agreed targets, develop sales & account plans in line with company strategy

• Strong selling skills in large accounts as well as sound knowledge and experience in complex technology solutions.

• Must be a self-starter and strong closer, with multi-tasking ability

• Develop and cultivate strong relationships with key customer and partner contacts, including at the executive level.

• Demonstrated experience with solution selling and business planning.

• Strong solution focus expertise for specific technology based around a combination of Unified Communications in its broadest sense - Contact Centre, Conferencing, Messaging, WebEx, Digital Signage and Telepresence based technologies; in order to be viewed as the lead Collaboration sales specialist.

• Requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent. MBA preferred.
