The Services team for the Walmart account is one of the highest growing areas for the Enterprise South region. Our services resources are dedicated professionals focused on supporting the largest customer in the world (Fortune 1). This Professional Services group helps build solutions, leadsimplementations, and enables customerself-sufficiency on a vast array of Cisco solutions including Route/Switch, Wireless, Security, Data Center and Collaboration.

Who You'll Work With

As a Customer Engagement Manager, you will report directly to the Services Delivery Leader with primary responsibility for Delivery, Excellence, Engineering Management and Business Development. There will be significant customer interaction including on-site delivery for Optimization Services, Business Critical Services, POCs,Production-Pilots and Production deployments. You will spend at least 50 % of your time developing business opportunities and carrying them through to closure with our customer account managers and service sales personnel. You may travel up to 20% per year - though travel will vary depending on the project.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Typically requires BS, CS, or University degree equivalent and 8+ years relevant experience in engineering management, delivery management and business development. Advanced degree strongly preferred.

  • Communication skills to include conflict management, negotiation,presentation/demonstration, and writtencommunication.

  • Excellenttroubleshooting skills.

  • Service Sales experience in identifying new service opportunities, selling service solutions and managing the sales process for services

Desired Skills

The CEM’s primary role is positioning, managing and delivering service solutions around Cisco's Enterprise technologies and integrating them into the customer's overall enterprise architecture and design. The CEM will be expected to work with Collaboration, Security, Data Center, Wireless and Route/Switch segments. This position will help drive sales, serve as technical delivery management, lead delivery efforts and mentor other technical consultants within the team. Since this is a high profile position with interface to Cisco's premier customer, travel is required and can be anywhere from 10-20% of the time.

Experience/Skills: The ideal candidate will have deep service delivery experience and expert knowledge of Cisco's Enterprise products and solutions. Candidate must be self-motivated,team oriented and must possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills. The following skillsets are thus desired of this candidate:

(1) Experience in managing and deploying Enterprise network installations.

(2) Extensive experience in managing teams of engineers and technical resources

(3) Experience in selling service solutions in a consultative approach with customers

(4) Experience in presenting to internal Cisco account teams, Business Units, development teams, sales teams, field customers and technology forums. Individual needs to have a track record of successful executive interaction, consultative selling and excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

(5) The position typically requires a minimum of BSEE/CS degree or equivalent of 5+ years relevant experience ininternetworking technologies and applications.
