Job Role: Data Center & Routing/Switching Lead Consulting Engineer
Role Description: Lead Consulting Engineer to support Fortune 1 company. The candidate will require strong consulting and interpersonal skills coupled with deep technology skills in Cisco Routing and Switching platforms, in addition to, Datacenter platforms. The candidate will possess a proven track record of successful planning, design, implementation and operational experience. The candidate will ensure that “Delivery Excellence” is provided in every aspect of their work efforts and relationships with the client.
Delivery Excellence: To take pride and ownership in delivering the utmost quality and reflect Cisco’s professionalism in daily work efforts, deliverables, and relationships. The ability to provide a clear vision of their role in the business, build strong professional relationships with key stakeholders, and foster an environment of trust and transparency.
Consulting Experience and Skills : At least 5 years of client facing experience articulating Next Generation Cisco Enterprise RS/DC technology architecture value proposition, innovation, and adoption. Strong executive presence, communication and presentation skills are required. Ability to communicate verbally, written, and cross-functionally with client and cisco is a must.
Technology Skills: At least 5 year’s experience designing, implementing, and operating the following platforms
Cisco Branch Routers, Data Center Interconnect Routers, Industrial Routers, Network Function Virtualization Routers, Edge Routers, WAN Aggregation & Internet Edge Routers.
Cisco Campus Core, Distribution, and LAN Switches, Data Center Core Switches, Cloud Virtual Switches, WAN Switches, etc.
Certification: RS and/or DC CCIE
