The Account Manager in Cisco is the key contact for our customers: we are looking for a bright individual who will own and nurture the relationship, building and executing the sales strategy for several Service Providers. Implement and maintain the sales strategy
Meet/Exceed sales targets
Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients
Fulfill turnover objectives
Maintain a high-profile Cisco presence in the marketplace
Education to degree level, preferable
Formal training in sales techniques
Proven track record of successful sales in Service Providers
Knowledge of the enterprise managed services and the service provider markets, preferably existing relationships and a track record of selling into the Service Providers is a strong advantage
Demonstrable experience in selling managed services and solutions to executive management.
Ability to network within a customer and partner organization to identify all key influencers and decision makers.
Building positive relationships within the selected accounts
Business planning and reporting (monthly forecast, weekly commit, pipeline development)
Who You Are
You are a creative and self-motivated Account Manager. You're well-versed in developing and executing a strategy to drive incremental business through direct customer contact, partner engagement and Engineering engagements. You have comfort managing VP relationships and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to solve business challenges. You are able to think outside of the box to overcome objections and to deliver compelling solutions.
BA/BS or equivalent experience required
5+years successful sales experience
Strong understanding and experience with Service Provider products & environment
Exceptional communications skills
Demonstrated success with selling to C-level management teams
Demonstrated experience managing a large customer
Must have the ability to deliver business value to the account and build on strong customer relationships
