The Account Manager in Cisco is the key contact for our customers: we are looking for a bright individual who will own and nurture the relationship, building and executing the sales strategy for several Service Providers. Your success will reflect on sales achievements, long-term customer relationships, and satisfaction.

  • Implement and maintain the sales strategy

  • Meet/Exceed sales targets

  • Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients

  • Fulfill turnover objectives

  • Maintain a high-profile Cisco presence in the marketplace

  • Education to degree level, preferable

  • Formal training in sales techniques

  • Proven track record of successful sales in Service Providers

  • Knowledge of the enterprise managed services and the service provider markets, preferably existing relationships and a track record of selling into the Service Providers is a strong advantage

  • Demonstrable experience in selling managed services and solutions to executive management.

  • Ability to network within a customer and partner organization to identify all key influencers and decision makers.

  • Business planning and reporting (monthly forecast, weekly commit, pipeline development)

Who You Are

You are a creative and self-motivated Account Manager. You're well-versed in developing and executing a strategy to drive incremental business through direct customer contact, partner engagement and Engineering engagements. You have comfort managing VP relationships and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to solve business challenges. You are able to think outside of the box to overcome objections and to deliver compelling solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience required

  • 5+years successful sales experience

  • Strong understanding and experience with Service Provider products & environment

  • Exceptional communications skills

  • Demonstrated success with selling to C-level management teams

  • Demonstrated experience managing a large customer

  • Must have the ability to deliver business value to the account and build on strong customer relationships
