What You'll Do
You will be responsible for the development of the Service Provider Marketing Plan for a Tier 1 customer and partner of Cisco. You will develop the global marketing plan in collaboration with members of the direct and channel sales teams and the broader marketing community to support growing the global business plan. You will work with relevant Tier 1 executives, relationship and marketing managers to agree on the channel plans.
You will provide leadership and collaboration in a cross-functional team.
You'll develop and be responsible for the global marketing plan to drive Cisco portfolio and architectural solution mindshare, preference and adoption.
You will work directly with Tier 1 SP on marketing plans and demand generation activities. You will generate end-customer awareness, preference and demand for co-branded services and offerings, effectively handle joint funds and investment prioritization for the highest impact.
You'll use data and analytics to figure out customer insights and trends in building marketing programs.
You will use a Broad mix of marketing channels including online digital / social media, live and online event, telemarketing, and email marketing to build an integrated marketing plan aligned with Cisco and the partner's sales goals.
You will maintain strong and collaborative relationships with marketing teams in the regions and globally to ensure sharing of best practices.

Who You Are
You have a deep understanding of the SP market and proven ability to learn market trends with respect to segmentation, product value propositions, competition, channels and products. Your ability to synthesize market forces and sales strategy into a coherent marketing strategy is crucial.
You are able to lead complex projects with multiple deliverables, many of which come from other groups and teams. This requires the ability to develop a holistic view of deliverables, understand how these deliverables fit together and are dependent upon each other, modify the plan as schedules and deliverables change, and work with the extended team to ensure timely delivery of integrated programs to the field and customers.
Your functional discipline knowledge includes demand generation, digital / social media channels, marketing analytics, program development and execution, and event strategy.

Marketing Excellence: Develop and execute integrated marketing plans with a focus on digital know-how.
Market Development: Use customer, market, previous bookings, services data, and competitive, industry and partner analysis to create direct and joint marketing plans to increase adoption of the portfolio
Operations Excellence and Planning : Measure results by tracking marketing activities and their impact on both the partner and sales including tracking full funnel metrics from reach and response through revenue (i.e., SQL).
Communications: Share timely and relevant information between marketing and the cross-functional community.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Provide teamwork and partnership with key business stakeholders (Global Service Provider Sales, Service Provider Channels, Global Marketing, etc.).
SP business & technical knowledge: Understand SP marketing industry and trends in developing strategies and joint marketing plans. This includes having a deep understanding of the Service Provider business models and cloud / managed services and the ability to develop content in working with external agencies and partner's agencies.
Entrepreneurship and creativity: Demonstrate a creative can-do attitude in a rapidly changing environment. Plus, enjoys taking risks, and is open to learning from experiences.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing
At least 5+ years of experience marketing in/to the Service Provider industry
Up to date knowledge of current tools and techniques for Marketing execution
Strong leadership and influencing skills across virtual and global teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills
