What You'll Do

The Commercial Manager will engage with a dedicated, global sales, delivery and customer services team to drive the successful execution of the commercial elements of a complex, multi-year operate and transformation contract.

The Commercial Manager will

  • “CR” (LCA splits, decommissions, Invoices changes, address and entity changes, disputes, application of WHT, currency exchanges)

  • Provide regular communication of CR programme cost impact to customer

  • Manage bad-debt evaluation, escalation with contracts team and collections

  • Provide regular communication of global credit hold position to account team

  • Interface with Programme Sales Lead to provide needed documentation for Change Request approval (ie: CR scope so quotes and approvals can be obtained).

  • Interface with customer to track programme budget, invoices and milestone schedules, and forecast by domain, country, site

  • Provide the programme with updated site service and product capex cost, ensuring that all sites have a valid, certified and signed-off product and implementation cost (BOM provided by sales/delivery, implementation cost provided by delivery)

  • Engage with delivery and asset management team to ensure timely and correct sweeps and true-up communication for Cisco Operate Services (ie: CMS and maintenance)

  • Engage with Delivery Financial Lead to validate financial baseline for plan, aligned with financial cost base

  • Engage with Project Management team to support the management of available budget against programme schedule

  • Provide weekly updates summary of bad debt report to customer

Who You'll Work With

The Commercial Manager will work closely with a large, globally dispersed, dedicated account, delivery, and customer service team. You will also be required to interface with a global financial services customer.

  • 10+ years in proven commercial environment with experience in sales, business development or financial management.

  • Demonstrated success in working closely with an account team and delivery team on complex business opportunities across global teams

  • Ability to create high-quality customer facing and internal facing documentation to support contract change

  • Understanding of Cisco financial guidelines with regards to deal approval authority

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of the Services/Advanced Services business
