What You'll Do
You will own the development of the overall SP Marketing Plan for British Telecom as a Customer and a Partner.
The global marketing plan will be developed in collaboration with members of the sales teams including both direct sales and channel sales and the broader theatre and global marketing community to support growing the global BT business plan. The channel plans need to be agreed and coordinated with the relevant BT executives, BT relationship and marketing managers.
You will have the following accountability:
You will provide leadership and teamwork in a cross-functional team to develop and own the global marketing plan to drive Cisco portfolio and architectural solution mindshare, preference and adoption inside BT.
You will provide leadership and teamwork in a cross-functional team to develop and own the global joint marketing plan with BT. This entails working directly with BT on marketing plans and demand generation activities generating end-customer awareness, preference and demand for co-branded services and offerings, effectively managing joint funds and investment prioritization for highest impact.
You will use data and analytics to determine customer insights and trends in crafting marketing programs.
You understand a broad mix of marketing channels including online digital/social media, live and online event, telemarketing, and email marketing to build an integrated marketing plan aligned with Cisco and the partner's sales goals.
You will maintain strong and collaborative relationships with BT marketing teams in the regions and globally to ensure sharing of best practices.

Who You Are
You have a deep understanding of the SP market or proven ability to learn market trends with respect to segmentation, product value propositions, competition, channels, and products in the SP market. Your ability to synthesize market forces and sales strategy into a coherent marketing strategy is crucial.
You are able to run complex projects with multiple deliverables, many of which come from other groups and teams. This requires the ability to develop a holistic view of deliverables, understand how these deliverables fit together and are dependent upon each other, modify the plan as schedules and deliverables change, and work with the extended team to ensure timely delivery of integrated programs to the field and customers.
Your functional discipline knowledge includes demand generation, digital/social media channels, marketing analytics, program development and execution, and event strategy.
Here some of the mandatory skills we are looking for:
Marketing Excellence: you have experience in developing and executing integrated marketing plans with a focus on digital know-how.
Market development: you use customer, market, Cisco bookings and services data, competitive, industry and partner analysis to craft direct and joint marketing plans to increase adoption of the Cisco SP portfolio and Cisco-based Cloud and Managed Services.
Operations excellence and planning: you measure results by tracking marketing activities and their impact on both the partner and Cisco sales including tracking full funnel metrics from reach and response through revenue (i.e., SQL).
Communications: you share timely and relevant information between marketing and the cross-functional Global Service Provider community.
Cross-functional collaboration: you provide teamwork and partnership with key business stakeholders (Global Service Provider Sales, Service Provider Channels, Global Marketing, etc.).
SP business & technical knowledge - you understand SP marketing industry and trends in developing strategies and joint marketing plans; you have a deep understanding of the Service Provider business models and cloud / managed services and the ability to develop content in working with external agencies and partner's agencies.
Entrepreneurship and creativity - you demonstrate a creative can-do attitude in a rapidly changing environment. You enjoy taking risks and are open to learning from experiences.
You have a bachelor's degree in Marketing with at least 5+ years of Service Provider customer experience (preferred).
You bring up to date knowledge of current tools and techniques for Marketing execution.
You have strong leadership and influencing skills across virtual and global teams.
You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
You are results driven.
Languages: you are fluent in English (additional European languages are a plus)
