What You'll Do

You will deliver awareness and demand for Cisco’s business in the UK and Ireland you will create and be responsible for the execution of the media plan, a key element of the overall Marketing plan.

Advertising and Media Strategy & Execution:

  • Inspire and guide us towards a strategically and creative execution of full-funnel campaigns with particular emphasis on Customer Journeys.

  • Define a Media Strategy and work with the Cisco Marketing team and our agencies to co-create engaging content and define Media channels for execution from Awareness to Demand.

  • Take responsibility for Media end to end from planning, briefing, roll-out and execution with performance reporting, retargeting strategy & optimisation.

  • Use your experience in Programmatic advertising and your know how to work with DSP, SSP / Ad exchange, Media Trading Desks.

  • Be responsible for Tagging & Tracking content.

  • Take a Data Centric approach: You make us feel confident about the accuracy and relevancy of data being used: whether 1st party, 3rd party cookie pool data, channel specific data, offline date. You know how to integrate data, and how it is linked and activated for advertising.

You’ll report to the UKI Marketing Director and work closely with the person that leads on Brand as they develop strategies, relevant thought leadership themes and approaches to strengthen Cisco Brand in the UK and Ireland working with global, regional and local colleagues.

Your success will be measured both by Marketing results, and by your approach and business relationship skills.

Who You Are

Attitude and experience:

  • You are a Marketer and someone who is passionate on staying on top of the latest trends, tactics and ideas in Marketing, and keen to share your knowledge.

  • You have lots of knowledge and experience in digital and media: media planning, media buying and performance management, social media marketing, online marketing, website metrics and insights, along with programmatic advertising.

  • You take a strategic approach and are revenue driven.

  • You’ve done it before when it comes to content production, activation across all channels, and hitting performance targets – but you are always looking for ways to do it better!

  • You have attention to detail, and are good with processes and tools.

  • You’re comfortable briefing and managing an agency to ensure a phenomenal partnership that delivers performance against budget.

  • You’ll learn from and share with your peers across Cisco Marketing. You will be happy to become involved in various projects across Cisco marketing to make a real contribution to the overall success of the team.

  • You have a positive attitude. You like to try something new, fail or succeed, you’ll learn and move on.

  • Your natural working style is to be inclusive and communicative.
