The Team

The mission of the Country Global Enterprise Model (CGEM) is to define the next-generation coverage model for Cisco’s Global Enterprise Customers. It’s charted to provide a globally consistent customer experience and lead the transformation to grow Cisco revenue and profit in a sustainable way. The CGEM Germany Operation is in charge of our top 13 Global Enterprise Customers across various industries with their Headquarters based in Germany.

What You'll Do

The Global Account Manager for Siemens Headquarter (GAM HQ) in Cisco is the key contact for several Siemens divisions globally. The GAM HQ is as a key member of the global Siemens Account Team. You will own the relationships to the different Siemens divisions, and will build and execute the sales strategy. Your success will reflect in sales achievements, long term customer relationships and satisfaction. In this job you will be selling Cisco Solutions developed in the Worldwide Cisco Team to existing and new contacts within the customer organizations. You will be hitting personal targets and contributing to overall profitability, success and positive image of Cisco within Siemens.

Who You'll Work With

In addition to being aligned with the customers strategy the Global Account Manager needs to be aligned closely with the Global Cisco Account Team. This evolvement includes helping provide clear and concise customer requirements, ensuring the team is working towards the correct solution for the customer, the customer is understanding the solution proposed by Cisco, and that any potential gap or issue is identified and brought to the attention of the correct Cisco team members and ultimately the customer. This involvement with internal Cisco teams will include providing key account updates to management while working across functional areas.

Who You Are

You are someone that has:

  • Minimum BA degree in technology or business discipline

  • Several years of experience in sales account management

  • Native in German and fluent in English and willing to travel

  • Practical experience running complex IT and LOB projects

  • Previous experience and In depth knowledge with German industrial customers and German partner ecosystem.

  • developed trusted customer relationships up to C level combined with ability to network within a customer and partner organization to identify all key influencers and decision makers.

  • Experiences in engaging resources such as Marketing, Technology Experts, Services and others in complex projects

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the entire Cisco portfolio services and solutions offerings, software portfolio, data & analytics, security and industry trends.

  • Ability to translate customer needs in business outcome

Must Have Skills:

  • Ability to match customer needs with state of the art technology solutions and partners to deliver them.

  • Negotiation skills to craft solutions that are beneficial to our customers, partners and Cisco overall.

  • You have selling skills as well as sound knowledge in complex IT solutions combined with ability to understand, articulate and position the value of a technology-based solution to the customer.

  • Strategic conversational ability in a wide range of technologies and how they map to business outcomes

  • Ability to develop strategic Architectures and Solutions based on customer business needs

  • Identify customer business and technology needs through relationship building with key customer stakeholders

  • Ability to create and execute on our top accounts strategic initiatives.

  • Ability to provide business development support – positioning services and assisting in scoping and determining level of effort for proposals and statements of work

  • Possess core skills in: problem solving, negotiating, business writing, customer relationship management, effective presentation, and active listening

  • Ability to understand Healthcare industry strategies, business challenges, and desired business outcomes and develop a technology, solutions-oriented strategy at a vertical or segment level that can deliver

  • Demonstrated ability to identify gaps and drive innovation solutions that close the gaps into the portfolio and into the accounts covered

  • Strong customer consulting experience in network design, collaboration, data center and security solutions
