What You'll Do

This Client Service Manager within the PSP (Cisco’s Public Sector) Segment is a customer-facing sales professional who drives the overall success of Cisco Service business at some of the largest German based Accounts, including management of account plan activities, generation of a balanced and healthy opportunity pipeline, forecast and achievement of signings, revenue, contract profitability and client satisfaction.

The Client Service Manager is expected to engage with the client on various management levels to understand customer’s strategy, customer’s needs, and their business requirements so as to recommend appropriate Cisco service solution.

The Client Service Manager is expected to generate and close complex, transformational deals.

In this job you will,

  • Proactively engage with the customer executives to sustain and build deep relationships to become a trusted advisor.

  • Identify customer business issues, challenges, pain points, care-abouts by which Cisco can improve, enhance or optimize through insertion of IT Service Management and Service Execution elements.

  • Develop a pipeline of opportunities.

  • Communicate issues and solutions to executives

  • Present a comprehensive transformational business case (includes a customer problem/challenge) describing how Cisco’s solutions align with the customer’s strategy and business outcomes and demonstrate the value of the proposed solution.

  • Negotiate the terms of contractual agreements, variations in price, scope of service (SOW) and closing sales by commitment;

  • Plan and execute to achieve revenue goals

  • Forecaste accurately on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly schedule

  • Gather market and industry information

Who You'll Work With

You will engage customers face-to-face or via collaborative tools and technology such as WebEx, Telepresence, etc. As part of Cisco’s Services Sales Organization and dedicated member of the Account Team for some of the largest Public Sector Accounts, it will be necessary to work cross-functionally with Operations, Service Delivery, Product Sales, Finance, Legal, Architecture, Cisco Partners. This will ensure alignment with the global Account strategy and consistent local implementation.

Who You Are

  • BE or BE+ 10 years of experience in service sales with a very deep understanding of IT Service Management and ITIL

  • Native in German and fluent business English

  • Experienced in creating stakeholder interlocks and also communicating analysis and business outcomes in a concise and precise way

  • Track Record in successful orchestrating and leveraging cross-functional, virtual Pre-Sales Teams

  • Ability to coordinate multiple related initiatives effectively. Track Record of successfully negotiating large contracts and frame agreements in tight coordination with a cross-functional team

  • Ability to influence decisions related to Cisco Services and Cisco technologies across customers IT and Lines of business

  • Detailed understanding of all back office systems leveraged in support of the business, Partnering with senior management to establish operational objectives and assignments;

  • Knowledge of Cisco Services offerings, software portfolio, data & analytics, security and industry trends (e.g. cloud and ITSM)

  • Ability to prepare Strategic Business Planning, Business & Financial Acumen and strong negotiation and presentation skills;
