What You'll Do
As the Project Manager (PM) supporting multiple projects for a major Southern California Power Utility customer, you will work at multiple customer sites throughout Southern California.
As the PM, you will be responsible for the following:
Project Planning and Development: Conduct project planning activities including creation, documentation and management of program activities
Project Plan Execution & Scope Control: Provide tactical oversight of the entire individual projects. Consolidate and maintain project plans and schedules to show actual progress and revisions compared to baseline. Monitor and resolve schedule changes, interdependencies, hand-offs, critical path and scope deviations.
Project Communications and Change Management: Determine communications and change management requirements and methods. Perform impact assessment and assemble change management needs. Encourage and implement information exchange within project teams. Plan training and communication calendars with key stakeholders, including periodic reviews of progress with key stakeholders.
Project Status/Reporting: Lead daily and weekly meetings, take notes, and send out meeting notes. Follow up with team members, partners, and customers with open items. Track every aspect of projects. Report on the accurate state of the projects, communicate appropriate details to the appropriate stakeholders. Facilitate collection of success criteria, metrics, and lessons learned from cross-functional team members.
Risk and Issue Management: Manage the timely resolution of issues through the proper escalation path – prioritize issues appropriately. Ensure that a risk management plan is in place, that risks are placed in a risk log, and each risk has an owner.
Who You'll Work With
The PM will work closely with the utility customer, partners, the Program Manager, the Service Delivery Executive, and with all the service line delivery teams (Advisory, Implementation, Technical Support, Management, Optimization, and Training) in both the IT and OT environments at customer sites throughout Southern California.

You have a deep understanding of IT and OT tools, processes, and personnel.
You are proactive managing projects on a daily basis.
You can lead large meetings and keep team members on track.
You can track every item in a project and ensure its delivery is on time.
You can effectively work with team members, partners, and customers and deal with conflict.
Typically requires Bachelors or University degree equivalent.
Understanding and application of Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM)
5+ years of experience running large IT and OT projects in a corporate environment
Communication skills to include presentation/demonstration and written communication.
Proficient with MS Office suite
The PM must demonstrate experience successfully managing large, complex projects. The PM has experience providing excellent service to customers and collaborating with team members.
