We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 3 years collaboration technology solution selling experience and demonstration of overachievement in demanding enterprise environments.

What You'll Do

The Product Sales Specialist (PSS) –presents logical and well-organized arguments, data, and concrete business examples; clearly explains relevant facts; deftly distinguishes Cisco’sNext generation Meetings (NGM) offerings from competitors’; presents a well prepared, convincing case. Excellent presentation and customer interaction skills required.

The Collaboration PSS will be responsible for developing and executing on a strategic sales plan for theMidwest Atlanticarea. Expectation is to meet or exceedNext Generation Meetingsbookings targets. Provides weekly/monthly/quarterly sales forecasting and visibility into sales activity by keeping a current pipeline using Cisco forecasting tools.

Who You'll Work With

Strong ability to collaborate with account teams, finance, field sales, channels, business unit, customer advocacy and marketing personnel is required. Collaboratively works with extended team to identify and close opportunities. Works with sales management to identify specific behaviors, knowledge, and skill areas for focus and evaluation of general sales team.

Additional information

Key roles include: Assuming a consultative sales role, assessing the customer needs, develop a solution alone or with partners, offer pricing assistance, and involve Cisco services to ensure a successful implementation of Cisco’s Unified Collaboration solutions.

Develop and Drive strategic sales activity and thought leadership around unified collaboration solutions through cross-functional collaboration with marketing, channels, product management and other advanced technologies.

Who You Are

Overall Objectives and Responsibilities:

  1. develop and execute on a strategic sales plan for target accounts

  2. developing a thorough understanding ofNext Generation Meetings technology portfolio: Webex Meetings, Webex Teams, API’s/BoTs, Audio Conferencing, and Video Conferencing.

  3. partnering with other sales specialist teams to align vertical solutions with target accounts

  4. assume a leadership role utilizing field experiences in developing next generation meetings solutions both alone and with partners.

Other expectations include:

1) developing a thorough understanding of customer requirements;

2) designing collaborations solutions in response to customer requirements;

3) Develop area wide campaigns designed to drive next generation meetings pipeline

3) assisting account teams in effectively packaging, pricing, and presenting solution to customer, including ROI and value proposition.

5) assist in developing and presenting RFI/P responses

6) take active role in exploring partnership solutions

Cross-functionally align with the following organizations:

1) Advanced services

2) Other vertically focused or technology focused teams

3) Sales leadership (OD, RM, SSEM, SEM)

4) Marketing

5) Partners

Education and Work Experience: Requires BS/BA or equivalent

Based in Midwest Atlantic area (MN, WI, IL, IN, MI, OH, KY, W PA, Virgina, DC). Travel required within this area on an as needed basis.

Experienced with Strategic Account Planning and Consultative Sales. Demonstrated ability to understand and interact with senior level management CXO levels.

An ability to demonstrate understanding and success withCisco Next Generation Meetings (Webex Teams, Webex Meetings, Video)is strongly preferred.

The ability to craft comprehensive collaboration solutions and to articulate business benefits for those solutions is required.

Minimum 3 years experience selling collaboration technology. Expert verbal and written communication, including executive-level formal and informal presentation skills, is required. Successful completion of a recognized formal sales training program(s) is preferred.
