What You'll Do

The Business Entity:

The vision of the Public Sector organization is to help governments protect, educate, and serve citizens at the national, state, and local level. Our organization serves six market segment verticals: Civilian, Defense, Education, Healthcare, Intel, and State/Local Government.


  • Direct partner responsibilities for multiple Federally focused partners

  • Partner with Account Manager and Business Development Manager on account strategy

  • Provide technology direction guidance and sales engineering support to partners

  • Provide technical demonstrations and presentations on Enterprise Networks technologies

  • Support partner program capture and actively support proposals

  • Develop relationships with and educate key customer individuals

  • Provide on-site support for proof of concept and lab environments

  • Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services.

Who You'll work with

Join this exciting team as a partner facing pre-sales Systems Engineer working with a seasoned team engineers who have a great depth and breadth of Cisco expertise. The partner base covers multiple verticals including DoD, Intel, Civilian, and Enterprise. There is also opportunity for exposure to a wide variety of technologies including a focus on cloud, IoT, and Cyber Security.

This position is for partner focused engineering activities within the Public Sector Partner Organization.

Who You are


  • Candidate must be a US citizen

  • 1-3 years of experience in Networking or Information Technology

  • BS/BA strongly preferred

  • Technical aptitude and knowledge of key Cisco technologies such including Routing, Switching, Security, Voice, and Unified Communications

  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills and an ability to work in a team setting

  • Experience or knowledge of government contracts is a plus

  • Cisco Certifications are desirable but not required
