Responsibilities of the role are:
Technical Point of Contact with Engineering and architectural teams inside the tier 1 service provider accounts.
Become an advisor as the operator is moving towards automation and virtualizing its network functions towards (NFV).
Build strong relationships with technical and sales leadership team (e.g. AM Team, local and Extended SE Team, Business Units, SP Verticals, Cisco Services)
Develop yourself on an on-going basis as technology evolves quickly
Keep up-to-date on relevant solutions, products and services.
Provides consultative support in your area of specialization to other Systems Engineers.
Handle labs, demos, CPOC (Customer Prove Of Concept)
Lead opportunities till completion. Demonstrates ownership of complex projects / responsibilities (cross-functional); works to drive the project path and explores alternatives when problems arise.
Represent Cisco on community forums and customer facing events.
Able to identify Business Opportunities: business needs, market transition. Deeply involved in the Business Planning with AM/RSM/SEM.

Who You Are
We are looking for a professional with an Engineering level degree plus 5 years related experience.
A previous Service Provider exposure is a must (as a customer and/or vendor)
Strong and proven background on IP routing technologies (Routing protocols, MPLS, QoS, …). Familiar with Access, Edge & Core technologies.
Knowledge on Mobile Packet Core
Always willing to learn given the transformation are going though: Automation (ML, AI), software (Virtualization, containerization)
Minimum software (ex: Python, JAVA), Systems (Linux) and virtualization (OpenStack)
Effectiveness in Presentation Skills, Negotiations and Influence Skills
Able to present technical solution and influence Customer decisions. Able to articulate our product's value proposition/strengths vs. the competition
Teamwork effectiveness, demonstrated in past experience with presales, sales and post-sales services functions
Languages: French native speaking combined with a good English fluency. Spanish would be a plus.
Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills
