Role & Responsibilities
Responsible for media strategy and plans for the Latam Countries using a full-funnel approach. Paid Media Specialist is the primary point person for media planning and execution. This position is accountable for handling of all aspects of the planning, implementation, and execution of all media efforts. Manage stake holders in country to consolidate pay media needs to elevate all this information with Digital Makerting Manager to define action plan.
Key responsibilities include:
•Define media strategy and priorities for Latam countries based on the audience segment strategy and objectives working with Digital Marketing Leader.
•Set Latam targets and lead KPI reviews for Latin America countries to monitor and analyze KPIs and performance against short and long term targets.
•Guide and consolidate Media efforts across Latam.
•Partner with media agency partners on plan development.
• Ensure media initiatives are managed and implemented based on specific requirements including audience segment and campaign architecture.
• Ensure consistency in the approach, governance and process across business units, agencies, service- and technology-partners
•Lead the direction and development of audience strategies including programmatic and programs based on Cisco priorities and business goals.
•Partner with the Cisco’s Global Media team to architect and implement the Programmatic media capabilities for Cisco.
•Identify opportunities for content co-creation to drive campaign objectives
•Ensure consistency in the approach, governance, process and technology use internally and externally
•Act as the key point of contact for media, service, and technology partners for Latam countries and Americas.
•Assist in the development of internal training media curriculum as it relates to media planning and buying principals, methodologies and tools including programmatic.
•Actively participate in tracking of performance across all audience segment and regularly review media performance with teams across the organization.
• Partner internally with audience strategy and digital marketing teams to develop optimization recommendation and ensure the media initiatives are delivering on goals.
Ensure strong collaboration and integration across Cisco marketing organizations including digital marketing and global media teams.
Bachelor degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field.
Comfort working with many different groups and building relationships across organizational boundaries (internal and external).
3- 5 years of experience in media planning or B2B advertising including at least 3 +years of experience in SEM/SEO, Mobile, Social, Programmatic, DMPs, DSPs, and other AdTech tools including Doubleclick products.
Good knowledge of the Google Suite products (such as Adwords, DCM, DBM, GA 360) and Adobe Analytics.
Balanced analytical and creative mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presenting to executive management teams.
Proficient to Advanced Excel skills (hint – you’ll work in Excel consistently in this position).
Strong attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to manage time and multiple tasks to meet competing deadlines.
Experience setting media strategy and determining media buys.
Proven familiarity of planning and research tools and resources (including digital planning resources).
