As a PDR for the Cisco Meraki, it will be your responsibility to identify, develop and qualify new Meraki partners to the point of handoff to the sales force. You will maintain a deep understanding of Cisco Meraki’s products and services, partner and customer needs in order to identify appropriate prospects and swiftly establish effective contacts.
This is a high-energy position requiring an individual who is deeply motivated, enthusiastic and results-orientated. Attention to detail is highly important as you’re responsible for winning Meraki focus with new partners. A critical part of the role will be to conduct business dealings with prospects in a way that builds an excellent partner/prospect experience. This will set the stage for future product sales with Cisco Meraki. Once you’ve secured interest, your focus is to help build the Meraki practice in these partner organizations from the ground up. You will be communicating with a wide variety of contacts in any given organisation and should be able to lead these contacts well.
Conduct high volume prospecting/calling into multiple partner organizations via cold-calling, networking, e-mail, distributor and competitor partner databases. Utilize internet information sources to build and maintain a developing partner pipeline
Articulate Cisco Meraki value proposition to partners (owner/principle to sales management) to assess interest in becoming a Meraki partner
Clearly communicate Cisco Meraki products and solutions with prospective partners to successfully manage and overcome objections
Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and quarterly goals consisting of partner sales opportunities
Heavy use of Salesforce.com, and additional applications to manage all partner data and ensure data integrity

Minimum 1 year of sales experience required
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Obsession with organization, detail, multitasking and time management
Bachelor's degree required - extra-curricular involvement a plus!
Ability to work in a fast paced and fun start up environment (Red Bull and coffee provided)
