About the Job:

BroadSoft (now Cisco) is currently the leading global provider of Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) services to operators worldwide, specializing in Enterprise communications and collaboration. As BroadSoft develops its portfolio in the digital space, we are looking for a Digital Product Manager to join our Go-To-Market teams.

The Digital Product Manager will guide and partner closely with product owners, designers, as well as the management team of the organization to identify, create, incubate products and apply improvements to the BroadSoft line of products and technology. This is a position ideal for someone who loves digital product development, embraces quick turnaround, and are excited about being part of a fast paced and innovative team.


  • Partner with key members of the organization to define product strategy

  • Work with other platform and product owners to drive company-wide initiatives and to define digital strategy

  • Establish shared vision across our company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution

  • Gather and cultivate key metrics to promote data-driven product development

  • Gather and distill requirements from users, support, marketing, and elsewhere; translate these into a cohesive and actionable vision

  • Communicate product roadmap and release schedules to stakeholders

  • Research technical and product trends and identify new product directions, features and technical integration opportunities

  • Define, monitor and react to key product metrics

  • Manage product teams including running product meeting, maintaining product specs and backlog, coordinating design, development and QA activities

  • Prioritize and communicate cross-organizational projects in a clear and effective way


  • Ideally strong background in both traditional and digital marketing best practices and processes, background and aptitude in digital marketing a huge plus

  • Incredible attention to detail in language, usability and design

  • Articulate, persuasive while able to listen and incorporate the perspectives of others

  • Exceptional at planning, setting expectations, making and meeting commitments

  • Ability to independently drive initiatives forward end-to-end

  • Incredibly analytical and equally capable and motivated to make strategic and tactical decisions

  • Driven customer advocate

  • Experienced developing viral features, feature discoverability, social integrations and incorporating game mechanics to engage users

  • Plus skill: very comfortable reading technical API document from third parties to identify opportunities

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of product management or product design experience

  • B.A./B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical or marketing field; M.S., MBA a plus

  • Ability to navigate complex problems that range across the company’s product and technology, create solutions for them that are user/customer centric

  • Experience working directly with design and development team, have the ability to influence and guide the team towards building and enhancing the company’s digital portfolio

  • Foster a data-driven culture within the digital team that facilitates collaboration and accelerates innovation

  • Deep understanding of cloud services and mobile app business models

  • Good knowledge and execution throughout the digital customer journey with a focus on enhancing customer experience

  • Good understanding of technical architecture of complex and highly scalable solutions

  • Excellent judgment and thoughtfulness about the dynamics of a digital product ecosystem

  • “Out of the box” thinking and ability to conceptualize, manage and prioritize multiple projects at once

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high growth, changing environment
