What You'll Do

The Solution Architect role is a consulting role for customer paid-for services, whether transactional, subscription, or subject matter expert (SME) engagements. This includes being a primary security consulting contact with responsibility for providing consultative, proactive and/or reactive support to Cisco Security Optimization Services (SOS) accounts. In addition, this includes security consulting services with responsibility for providing transactional services, depending on the Service Contract or SOW, preparing, planning, design, implementing, operating and optimizing secure solution and security product deployment and integration. Is expected to support project managers with the development of project plans by providing technical and consulting engineer inputs into the project plan.

Advanced Delivery Centers (ADC) provides flexible and innovative ways to help meet customer needs while improving profitability for Advanced Services (AS) delivery teams. ADC’s highly technical global resources support customer engagements in all theaters acting as a seamless delivery partner to AS practice and theater teams.

ADCs are located in strategic regions around the globe - Bangalore, Dalian, Mexico City, Krakow and Raleigh (RTP) - enabling a more consistent and relevant customer experience across barriers of time zone, language, and local regulations. They are looking for highly skilled engineers to work across all Cisco architectures like Borderless networks, Collaboration. Datacenter/ Virtualization, Mobility, Video, NGN & OSS.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant subject is expected

  • CCIE or CCDE

  • 10+ years of security experience is expected in a number of different roles with clearly demonstrable experience of multi-vendor, multi-technology solutions and strong technical security consulting.

  • Qualified candidates must possess Security expertise in various infrastructure technology areas, which includes LAN/WLAN/WAN, Data Center, Collaboration, Cloud, and Service Provider environments

  • Delivery of Security Services to customers.

  • Proactive multi-vendor and multi-technology delivery of service program to medium/large complexity projects

  • Acting as the delivery lead and provide guidance to project management and engaged consultants

  • Knowledgeable of all Cisco security services and technologies (e.g., IR, APT, ISE, Stealth Watch, Segmentation Architecture, ATA) and how they can help clients drive business outcomes
