We are looking for a professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience working in IT Sales with both a business background that enables engagement at the CXO level, as well as a sales background that promotes relevance to sales organizations both within Cisco and our partner community. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.
Your main objectives will be:
The BDM of Volume Sales for Cisco Latin America will lead, develop and drive the strategy and execution of the Digital Sales processes for Cisco in Latin America, including evolution of the existing organization, tools, channels, e-Commerce and Go To Market.
Understand, articulate and position both internally and externally Cisco's end-to-end solutions and Cisco Go-to-Market. You need a strong Information Technology sales experience to articulate persuasive and engaging value propositions, and programmatic approach to market of Cisco solutions.
Develop and cultivate strong relationships with key technology decision makers in the market, and our ecosystem of distributors, partners and service providers.
Demonstrate a strong knowledge of information technology and how it impacts the business in a customer’s organization. Use technical and business insight to align business drivers to Cisco solutions.
Take a lead role with senior management, peers, partners, company and customers in progressing Cisco’s success in Mid-Market and Small Business Market Penetration via multiple channels including traditional and next generation (digital presence) channels.
Should be responsible for Volume Sales funnel creation through Demand Generation and Sales Acceleration Programs and conversation with Key Strategic Channels to drive incremental revenue.
Who You Are
To be successful in this role you will have a demonstrable successful sales experience with 10+ years proven track record in information technologies solutions with competitive product knowledge and experience driving sales in the region.
These are some of your demonstrated abilities:
You have experience developing digital and e-commerce sales strategies in the technology industry.
You are comfortable applying business knowledge and financial expertise to identify & qualify selling opportunities, as well as using a team selling approach.
Part of your success is based on your excellent negotiation skills. However, you can influence across teams, including Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Services and our community of external partners which makes you a strong partner.
You have success managing strategic initiatives - including sales strategy, transformational regional projects and the coordination of multi-functional teams.
Strong relationship management is one of your strongest skills. You have a genuine understanding of how to identify, build and manage solid relationships with multiple key stakeholders
You should be comfortable communicating Cisco value to executive level.
You have proven your ability to execute through Channel Partners.
You have strong communication skills in English and Spanish (written and oral). Portuguese is a plus.
This role will require travel of aproximately 33% of your time.
