What You'll Do

We need an over-achiever leader, fluent in the cloud based UC and/or contact center services market to identify business opportunities by evaluating and anticipating customer’s needs based on market trends. You will use your strong drive to help further the strategic growth of BroadSoft and Cisco’s UC and Collaboration portfolio and use your understanding of business drivers and technology to help clients in their efforts to migrate of applications to a cloud based network. Utilizing business case models and other tools you will demonstrate a thorough understanding of VoIP Telephony Application Servers in an IMS centric network and associated business drivers for maintaining the application and growth

Other duties include:

  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets in your territory.

  • Effectively present company products and services specifically tailored to customer need to expand current business and find additional new customer opportunities.

  • Maintain industry knowledge to support trusted advisor relationships with customers

  • Maintain and expand executive relationships within network, IT, product, marketing, customer experience/service and sales organizations.

  • Maintain and expand C-level executive contacts including CTO and Business Unit Presidents and management teams within each unit.

  • Formulate and execute win strategies for responding to customer RFx’s and unsolicited opportunities

  • Develop territory strategic account plans

  • Achieve quarterly and annual target revenue goals, management’s business objectives in designated territory.

  • Complete and maintain accurate forecasting and sales reporting using CRM tools

  • Provide a weekly business update in the form of email

  • Update the team on a weekly basis via team call

  • Participate in management meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives.

Who You'll Work With

You will lead directly and indirectly an internal team consisting of Sales Engineers, Program Management and Professional services and work collaboratively with the Product, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Sales Operations, Finance and Legal teams to successfully implement the designated strategic initiatives, and to contribute strategic and innovative ideas back into the global BroadSoft/Cisco organization.

Who You Are

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 8 years relevant sales record in voice and/or data networking sales with proven overachievement

  • Proven sales success experience with Verizon network solutions, senior level contacts are necessary

  • Experience in selling to all levels of Verizon organization (engineering, marketing, operation, sales, sourcing etc.)

  • Demonstrated self-motivated over achiever.

  • Demonstrated experience as a self-starter working effectively in the field organization in which resources may be located outside of the functional region.

  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills that can develop relationships with customers, internal resources and partners.

  • Able to multi-task, prioritize and juggle multiple complex opportunities, and manage time effectively with limited resources.

SKILLS:

  • Strong independent management skills

  • Proven persuasion and negotiation skills.

  • Direct sales experience to Verizon or other service providers

  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM

EDUCATION

  • University Degree (preferably BSEE or equivalent)

  • MBA a plus
