It's an exciting time to work at Cisco. Cisco’s Data Center offerings have been increasingly successful year after year, especially in the x86 space. Spring boarding off this success we are taking the SDN market by storm.

We are seeking a Virtual Sales Specialist (VSS) for Data Center technologies. In this position, you will be facilitating the success of Cisco sales teams in the Commercial segment for France, selling data center solutions with measurable sales objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a business plan to meet and exceed assigned quota. You will be the subject matter expert selling Unified Computing Solutions, Converged and Hyper Converged Solutions, Nexus and ACI, and other emerging Data Center related products like SDN.

You will understand, articulate and position both internally and externally Cisco's end-to-end Data Center Architecture.

Who You'll Work With

A successful VSS will work with Account Managers, Systems Engineers, Technical Leaders, Partners, Eco-System Partners and Sales Managers to plan sales strategies, develop proposals, deliver customer presentations/demos, and close the business.

Who You Are

Are you a seller who understands servers, storage, applications and networking along with thinking outside the box and overcoming objections? Then this is the position for you! Do you have experience selling Cisco specific products? Then that's even better! These types of products include Unified Computing System, Unified Fabric, ACI, Storage MDS, Virtualization, Hypervisors, Automation, Cloud, Converged Infrastructure, Applications and Data Center architectures.

Our minimum requirements for this role include:

  • 3 years of experience in data center, server, application, virtualization or application sales

  • Goal-oriented and passion for Sales

  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills. The role requires an ability to understand and clearly articulate the business benefits (value proposition) of Cisco’s datacenter solutions.

  • Self-Starter

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Fluent French AND English

The role is based in Lisbon, Portugal.
