What You'll Do

You will be focused on sales and prospecting for one of our largest customers. You have a long term view of the selling opportunity and not focus on short term sales or sales transactions.

  • You will research market transitions, industry trends, customer strategies to actively identify transformational opportunities for customers

  • You will lead visionary discussions with customers on the possibilities of Cisco solutions and technologies

  • Articulate customer’s advantages gained from shared Cisco and customer vision

  • Contribute to the design of innovative business value adding solution and maintaining integrity of the solution to its original transformational intent

  • Build business relationships with Senior Line of Business & IT leaders.

  • Present, position, and support solution focused discussions, workshops and roadmaps.

  • Position and embed Cisco Architects and/or strategists in the deal discussions, planning phase, etc.

  • Support and contribute to Cisco account planning activities

  • Track progress in satisfying WIN reporting requirements and monitoring progress of relationship transformation

Who You Are

You are self-starter with the ability to build relationships, articulate Cisco's product and business strategies, create demand and make deals happen. You have knowledge of working with technical solutions including calling on decision makers and business influencers.

  • You have demonstrate knowledge of leading a large enterprise account, including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations skills, and short/mid/long term opportunity management is needed.

  • Requires validated knowledge of the market and strong technical knowledge Data Center exp required.

  • You will deliver business value to the account and build on customer relationships.

  • You have extensive experience with selling to companies greater than 1500 employees, multi-site, complex selling cycle, technology adopters and Fortune 500 (both Private and Public Sector).

  • You are able to demonstrate skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners and customersusing an outcome where everybody wins philosophy.

  • Be able to position "end-to-end" solutions and articulate Cisco strategies to senior customer executives.

Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • You have understanding of large business organizations and their buying cycles.

  • Minimum BA degree (MBA preferred) and 7+ years account management experience
