Who You'll Work With

The CMS Platform Operations team seeks a Lead Application Support Engineer to join some of the industry's brightest minds to support a state of art monitoring platform.

What You'll Do

You'll drive resolution of complex Incidents/Events, work with Problem Managers for PBI investigation and RCAs and provide critical issue support for Tier 1 and 2 engineers. You'll contribute to our Knowledge database, provide technical inputs to change and release management and Cross collaborate with other SMEs of multi-functional teams. You'll interface regularly with Engineering, Delivery, Architecture teams etc. on regular basis for knowledge upgrade and feedbacks sharing. As well as contribute to the Knowledgebase.

Who You Are

Required Skillsets:

  • You've achieved a Bachelor's degree or have 6+years of industry experience.

  • You can demonstrate 4+ years of Transactional Application configuration and maintenance experience as well as

  • You're a rock star in Linux/OS administration and advanced troubleshooting(RHCA)

  • Expertise in administrating EM7 or similar NMS tools/applications.

  • Can show us your expertise in Apache Tomcat

  • You have a deep understanding and working experience in automation and virtualization (Ansible & VMWare).

  • Good understanding/Experience with SQL databases and NoSQL DB (e.g. Mongo DB)

  • You're an ace at Scripting and understand concepts of SaaS along with virtualization and Data centre components.

  • Expertise in fixing complex production issues – Analytical skills

  • You have extraordinary customer interaction skills

  • Knowledge of ITIL Processes
