What You'll Do

Cisco Managed Services is looking for a infrastructure manager to lead and drive the SaaS infrastructure for its current production environment. The role is a people leadership role for end to end SaaS infrastructure. This includes aspects of Virtualization, Operating Systems, Networking, Storage, Security audits, access Management, basic automation and other infra related items

Who You Are

Experienced with aspects of infrastructure with a minimum of 10 years with at least 5 years in a people leadership role. Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering/information systems. Should have 5+ years of hands-on experience in two or more of the following fields and be ready to drive all of the following.

Linux System Administration (CentOS, REDHAT)

Networking (Routers, firewalls)

Audits (PCI, SOC1/2/3 and others)

External Storage & Databases

VDI, AD and Access Management (Infra and application)


This individual would lead interactions across multiple teams around the globe, surrounding the platform-Operations function including engineering and architecture. Ability to work across boundaries and ability to collaborate is a key skill required for this role. The role requires managing a 24/7 operation and will require someone who is pro-active and can communicate effectively. As an Advanced Services Manager, the expectation is to drive excellence in operations and provide basic reporting like Inventory database, process and Policy guidelines, knowledge management for Tier1/2 and 3s, drive audits and certifications. Enable cross-functional teams to integrate well in the overall delivery environment. Should possess good presentation and influencing capabilities. Ability to manage and drive a team of experienced and senior resources and experience in the same is required.

Experience in managing a decent sized infrastructure or application support is necessary. Ability to articulate best practices, learning and alignment to an ITIL/ITSM methodology is a basic requirement of the role.
