THE TEAM: Join the dynamic Cisco ISG (Industry Solutions Group) Team, whose charter is to be the single conduit between the Business Entities and worldwide sales to deliver simple and unified go to market motions that translate into documented, sellable solutions to the field.

What You'll Do:

THE ROLE:

  • ISG Strategy and Planning is seeking an experienced Program Leader who will help support the development of our industry strategy, translate that strategy into an operational plan, and execute by operationalizing and managing programs/initiatives that drive our top global industry sales priorities.

  • You will lead and facilitate efforts across functional organizations such as Sales, Business Entities, Chief Digital Office, Partners, Services, Sales Operations, and various other internal cross-functional and external partners to transform business, and align Cisco’s goals and objectives.

  • A key responsibility is the program management of the global Industry Workgroups (IWG). The IWG is a corporate, cross-functional group that is comprised of senior representation from the key functional groups who are stakeholders in the creation and execution of industry solutions. This role will help drive the strategy and build workable projects and business plans as well as manage, drive and execute the plan across various organizations. This will also involve tracking teams and deliverables to ensure for a successful and timely delivery and influencing broader organizations to support and execute to plan.

  • You should have experience in enabling strategy execution, be well versed in program/project management methodologies and a consistent track record of project successes in program/project management roles.

  • Be able to think at the solution level with the ability to understand the business needs of an industry and enable the translation of constituent technologies into a business solution.

  • You are high-energy and personable and thrive in a dynamic environment possessing the ability to lead multiple projects at a time.

  • You are a self-motivated, independent worker who performs with very little supervision and project direction.

  • You are highly effective in figuring out risks and mitigating issues that impact scope, cost, resources and delivery, and communicating these effectively as needed.

  • You are a self starter and able to pick up projects and ramp up quickly as to add immediate value and in doing so instill the confidence of peers and project leadership.

  • Knowledge of a function or functions; example: Cisco's field organizations, processes, and go-to-market ... speak the language of the field.

  • Acumen in finance and operations is valued Executive communicator: comfortable and experienced at senior executive levels.

  • Comfortable leading in highly unstructured, ambiguous environments… thrive in 'white' spaces.

  • Team player... comfortable that your success rests on helping others to be successful.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
