What You'll Do

The Contract Strategy Team is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support transactions across Cisco’s Advanced Services and Cloud and Managed Services business segments. You will be responsible for fostering delivery, execution and enforcement of strategic, complex Services deals and turnkey projects in close collaboration with Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations and Delivery organizations. Success of this exciting new role will be partially measured by positive results on revenues, margins, customer success and business growth.

Responsibilities include:

  • You will apply policies and processes to render guidance on effective contract management actions to achieve the best solutions and outcomes

  • You will implement contract and commercial management and administration best practices to ensure Cisco’s compliance with its contractual and delivery obligations

  • Tracking and reporting on contract metrics

  • Assist with the implementation of contract management tools, systems and technology

  • Other duties as assigned

You are process driven, yet agile and business focused. You have a strong willingness to collaborate, share knowledge, respond quickly to urgent matters, and execute proactively. You have effective communication, negotiation, presentation, people and organizational skills with an eagerness to explore opportunities to digitize processes and services.

Our minimum qualifications are the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related area

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in contract management, preferably in a high volume, technology environment

  • Experience in complex outsourcing, systems integration, and managed technical services agreements is preferred

  • Ability to draft, review, interpret, and summarize in “plain English” technology agreements, change requests, statements of work, etc.

  • Financial awareness, such as revenue recognition, booking, CapEx v. OpEx, SLA, penalty & risk-reward mechanisms, etc.

  • Proficient in networking, telecommunications, and similar technology concepts

  • A good teammate who thrives when operating cross-functionally
