WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will be part of a global operational accounting team providing accounting support to Cisco Capital. You will be a key component in the month end close process through journal entry preparation, account analysis and account reconciliation. You will participate in innovative and dynamic process improvement and will have the opportunity to partner with numerous internal Cisco finance teams.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
The Corporate Controller Group (CCG), is comprised of several groups that are committed to supporting business processes with a high level of integrity and credibility through developing, influencing and implementing global financial policy and process and effective partnering. The specific group that you will belong to is Capital Accounting. Capital Accounting supports Cisco Capital who provides a wide array of financing options to Cisco customers.
There are exciting changes happening within the Cisco Finance organization as we shift to become even more passionate about our business partners and drive major groundbreaking initiatives in the way we operate. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience and exposure to functions both within and outside of Finance.

OUR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or finance
2-5 years of related accounting experience; CPA or CPA candidate preferred
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Strong data analysis skills including the extensive use of Excel (pivot tables and vlookups) and business intelligence applications
Excellent verbal/written communication and collaboration skills
Good business knowledge and ability to link business processes with financial accounting
Self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to drive to solutions and results
Ability to work multiple priorities in parallel
Problem solving approach and ability to work across organizations to resolve cross-functional issues
