What You'll Do

We need a visionary who strives to innovate the world of offerings and solutions. Someone to help transform our traditional network infrastructure team into a DevOps Network Infrastructure Team. You'll collaborate with multi-functional teams to help us transform. You'll work with Product Owners, Traditional Network Engineers and Software developers helping design, implement and operate Cisco Network Infrastructure.

Who You'll Work With

We’re an agile, fun, passionate Network Infrastructure team within Cisco IT— Collaborating and working closely with Cisco Business Teams on new Cisco technologies/solutions in the Corporate and Data Center Network—to deliver the most effective solution to our customer’s problems, from design, implementation, and operations. The rare mix of our disruptive approach to traditional network infrastructure by going to software-defined networks.

Who You Are

You have DevOps experience and can help mentor teammates as we shift to a DevOps Organization. You will partner with clients and craft new designs for the network then to implement and operate the solution.

At a minimum we expect you to have:

  • BS, CS or equivalent plus 5-8 years of technical experience

  • Strong automation development skills

  • Proficient in one or more automation languages [i.e. Ansible, Jenkins, GIT, Docker, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Python]

  • Experience in designing production environments that span application, systems, and network

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, processes, tools and culture. Agile experience

  • Deep understanding of CI/CD tools and agile development methodology

  • Ability to bring structure to problems effectively and work towards practical solutions.

  • Ability to lead multiple engagements with various teams. Experience leading and training teams.
