What You'll Do

The Program Manager will be responsible for driving various Cisco Data Protection & Privacy (DP&P) remediation programs. This is a high-visibility role with wide cross-organizational responsibilities. You should have experience driving complex programs across large enterprises.

  • You understand Cisco’s Data Protection and Privacy Policies & Standards.

  • You will lead detailed analysis of potential data privacy and protection issues and opportunities.

  • You will analyze internal applications, processes and the data according to its data classification, data taxonomy, and Cisco policy compliance.

  • You will document business requirements that are well understood, outcome based, and closely align with Cisco’s DP&P policies. You will ensure requirements are fully aligned with Cisco’s DP&P remediation strategy.

  • You will collect and translate business requirements into well understood, realistic, and actionable tasks.

  • You will guide partner expectations and communications in a timely manner.

  • You will build and provide support to operational processes internally to ensure proper handling of requests and critical issues.

  • You will provide program and project level reporting on a recurring basis.

  • You will describe Key Performance Indicators (Metrics) for project and report outcomes.

  • You will define change management process.

  • You will handle risks and dependencies as they occur.

  • You will liaise with multi-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of solution & optimal quality.

  • You will deliver accurate scoping, time estimates and participate in overall project planning.

  • You will attend to multiple projects at a time.

  • You will facilitate meetings and communicate well in a large group of participants; meetings shall be prepared well in advance with supporting presentation material.

  • You will maintain information in Cisco Document Management and Collaboration Systems as it relates to the job function.

Who You Are

  • You have a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a leading university. 10+ years’ experience in software program or project management.

  • Solid experience managing partner expectations.

  • Experience with operationalizing policy and defining process.

  • Good attention to detail and reporting and managing of tasks.

  • Excellent verbal/written interpersonal skills, time management and analytical/problem solving abilities.

  • A teammate with ability to be hands-on & get knee-deep to resolve complex issues.

  • Ability to perform at a rapid pace – and to run multiple projects at a time.

  • Ability to work multi-functionally, a true teammate among local and remote resources in different time zones.

  • Experience crafting clear and easy to consume presentations, project, and process documentation.

  • Focused in meeting client’s requirements, expectations, and providing exceptional customer satisfaction.

  • Experience defining business goals, business requirements and producing high quality project documentation supporting them. (Samples will be requested)

  • Knowledge of Data Protection, Privacy, and/or Data Security concepts

Preferred Additional Expertise

  • Six Sigma, PMP, and/or Certified Scrum Master

  • IAPP certification or equivalent

  • CISSP Security Certification

  • FAIR certification

  • Familiar with ISO Audit Compliance
