The Global DC Sales Strategy & Planning team focuses on driving growth, enhancing sales force productivity, and effectively running the business. We drive strategy/planning, operations and enablement initiatives in support of Cisco’s multi-billion-dollar Data Center Sales business.

What You'll Do
You will help design and maintain a business intelligence platform that will inform new sales campaigns and shape sales programs that grow revenue and support new product penetration. You will provide analytical and tactical support for sales leaders to magnify their reach and enhance their understanding of customer needs and behavior.
You will also drive critical business processes and identify opportunities to automate, accelerate and streamline our Data Center selling motion. You will actively contribute by identifying new opportunities, building & executing operational plans, driving key initiatives that translate into sales growth, and supporting strategic & tactical run the business imperatives.
Role & Responsibilities include: planning and gathering business metrics; developing business insights packages and presentations, both for recurring insights and responding to ad-hoc needs; presenting to business stakeholders; collaborating regularly with peers, global sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders on key initiatives; and ultimately positively impacting DC Sales growth while learning the sales strategy & planning function.
Key functional areas you will have the opportunity to learn & actively contribute to:
Business Intelligence : Apply a sales lens to pipeline, bookings, and sales data to anticipate roadblocks, identify best practices and opportunities, and shape the design of sales programs and initiatives. Role will include both design/build efforts, as well as direct/influence programs in collaboration with other teams.
Strategy & Planning: Learn Cisco’s DC sales strategy, priorities, and go-to-market plans and help identify, develop and implement plans to support the business; execute growth programs and initiatives; manage sales incentive programs; drive business intelligence initiatives to provide strategic insights & spur new programs; fiscal year planning.
Sales operations: assist in run the business functions for our Global DC Sales org; activities may include forecasting; sales tools & processes; sales coverage models; QBRs; goaling; headcount & budget management; business metrics & reporting.
Sales enablement: support & drive field training programs; business scaling initiatives; deal acceleration programs; various customer and field sales events.
Cross-functional engagement & alignment : Help drive cross organizational collaboration, alignment and execution around key strategic initiatives; operational rigor to ensure execution and impact. Forge strong relationships, build a virtual team à win together.
Project manage various strategic initiatives, get well plans, pilot programs, etc. as required.

The successful candidate will work closely with DC sales strategy & planning team members, global DC sales leaders, various worldwide sales teams, DC specialist teams, account teams, Business Units (engineering), marketing, channels, and other cross-functional organizations.
