What You'll Do

The Manager in Enterprise Information Security will be responsible for launching a new highly-visible security program targeted at enhancing security for all business applications across the company. This will include defining the strategy, evangelizing the new program, hiring a team of security authorities, and working multi-functionally to ensure successful adoption.

Your day to day will include (but is not limited to):

  • Developing team resources to provide delivery services to clients within budget and timelines.

  • Ensuring team members engage in training and certification programs to maintain technical expertise levels and expand skills in new transformation areas (i.e. programmability, automation/orchestration, analytics/AI, etc.)

  • Providing leadership to project managers, engineers, vendors, partners or subcontractors across all delivery projects.

  • Leading resolution of raised project issues.

  • Engage with multi-functional team managers, partners and directors to share information, resolve potential issues, collaborate and demonstrate Cisco resources.

  • Process Excellence: Demonstrate ability to apply and coach team on following rigorous process approach to all aspects of management, operations, administration, team management, and financial management. Demonstrate skills to understand, articulate, and explain how the process works as well as how to measure and manage compliance. Demonstrate continuous improvement in successful implementation of break fix process, communications process, sales process and internal support processes.

  • Support senior management in programs and initiatives aimed at growing the business, fostering people and increasing operational excellence.

  • Mentor, coach, and motivate team to excel at peak levels.

Minimum Qualifications/requirements:

  • You have 10+ years’ experience managing teams with proven leadership skills

  • BS Business Management, Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent

  • Knowledge of IT Service Management/Operation.

  • Knowledge of service delivery metrics and cost structure to drive creative business models and financial win-win arrangements with partners

  • Ability to work with a wide range of professionals and distributed teams

  • Excellent interpersonal and technical communication skills, ability to influence others at multiple levels of the company and with significant experience working with multiple programs and partners at once.

  • 25% travel could be required
