What you Will Do

This opening is for a Senior Telecom Business Systems Analyst (BA) for Cisco’s IT Global Infrastructure Services Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • You will evaluate business and technical issues across all Telecom services.

  • You will work closely with the internal teams and external Telecom vendors to optimize the Expense management functions.

  • You will coordinate and identify key performance metrics and provide readouts in monthly global review meetings.

  • You will navigate telecom tax and fees on an international scale and provide recommendations on an ongoing basis for efficiencies and optimization.

Who You Will Work With

You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to elicit and define requirements for key initiatives driven by business priorities. You will regularly meet with Corporate Finance teams, AP functions and domain experts to gain a solid understanding to the problem(s) being addressed, identify efficiencies, and work closely with teams to identify workable solutions.

Who You Are

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Accounting Preferred

  • 10 years experience

  • Able to demonstrate expertise in invoice management, accrual-based accounting, and expense reporting.

  • Telecom Expense Management Tools and processes experience preferred

  • Superb communication skills

  • Proficient in accounting principles and systems

  • Proven results in Enterprise Telecom environments

  • Experience with building Telecom business reports for executive levels

  • Demonstrable ability to handle complex Telecom issues including taxation for both US and International carriers.

  • Experience in telecom and IT disciplines and will be skilled at communicating with a variety of constituent audiences.

  • Part of a highly productive, dynamic, and agile organization responsible for issue resolution, optimization, and support.

Additional Skills:

  • Understanding of EDI standards

  • Experience with Auditing standards and standard methodologies

  • Proficient with Billing and Procurement systems
