If so, you may be the perfect person to accelerate one of the most impactful business units within Cisco – Reference Data Master Data Management. We are hiring a critical role of a Sr. Business Analyst, to serve as a strategic business partner who will help us push the envelope of data-driven decision and help us accelerate our business delivery.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will be clearly defining and troubleshooting of different business requirements and developing key artifacts such as business process flows, solution design for optimizing processes, and create user stories etc. You will develop an in-depth understanding of the different aspects of Customer Registry Operations and Partner Operations.

Who You'll Work With

Reference Data - Master Data Management services team makes an impact by maintaining accurate system of records for Master data (Customer & Partner Registry) and timely delivery of it for enterprise consumption. Our shared service utilizes cross functional forums to drive governance, communications and execution of all requests. We work in a dynamic, complex environment. We have the opportunity and obligation to deliver accurate and timely foundation data to different functions across Cisco. In this role, you will work very closely with Ops delivery lead on both Customer and Partner Business Operations to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You will also get to work with several cross functional partners, vendors, technical IT teams, senior leadership and customers / partners.

As an MDM Business Analyst, you are a highly motivated, team oriented, and process driven business/systems analyst. You are highly analytical, proficient with systems, and demonstrate interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

You are a standout teammate who is excellent at relationship building and is able to communicate, present and negotiate at all levels. You are detail oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to tell a compelling story from data. You have an extremely strong service mindset.

Our minimum requirements are the following:

  • Bachelors degree

  • Minimum 5-7 years' business analysis experience

  • Proven experience achieving business outcomes in a fast paced highly cross-functional organization

  • Ability to handle high levels of ambiguity but seek clarification when needed

  • Previous data delivery experience, Vendor management experience, and Strong Agile (Scrum) experience

  • Deep understanding of Cisco’s Go To Market Strategies.

  • Previous experience in Cisco tools like Customer Registry, SAVM, SFDC, PSS, SHARE, etc.

  • Solid project management experience preferred

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Strong data analysis skills including the extensive use of MS Excel/Access, Oracle - SQL and PL/SQL

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and business partnering skills

  • Deep knowledge of the business and is able to link business processes to extract and integrate data from multiple data sources to ensure solutions with high data integrity

  • Self-motivated, results oriented, dedicated and flexible individual who can work autonomously in a fast paced changing environment.
