As a Systems Engineer based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters, you will team up with a Cisco Meraki Sales team to assist with technical sales activities for new and existing opportunities. You will utilize your in-depth knowledge of Cisco's Cloud based Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solution to demonstrate competitive advantages over industry players to both prospective customers and partners.

Job Responsibilities

  • Become the technical subject matter expert on Systems Manager, Cisco‚Äôs Cloud based EMM/UEM solution. Have an in-depth understanding of its features, functions, and benefits, while being able to share that knowledge with both technical and business audiences

  • You will support pre-sales activities including discovery of client needs, conducting online product demonstrations, implementing proof-of-concepts and trials as well as assisting with opportunity closure

  • Responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs/RFQ

  • Work with the Cisco Meraki Sales team on strategic sales initiatives (customer outreach, Channel training, etc.) to grow business in targeted regions

  • Establish and maintain a deep understanding of the EMM/UEM competitive landscape and industry technology trends and share that knowledge with internal sales and product teams

  • Create design/deployment guides for both external and internal audiences

Desired Skillset

  • Experience within Technical Pre-Sales / Systems Engineering

  • Experience with configuring and deploying mobile device platforms (Android, iOS, Windows, etc.) in an enterprise environment. (Device lifecycle management, application management, content management and security management)

  • Experience with server configurations (Windows Server, Linux etc.) and Identity Access Management systems (vIDM, Okta, Ping, etc.) and SAML is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to identify and complete tasks and assignments with limited supervision and direction

  • CCNA/CCNP/CCIE routing/switching/security certifications a plus

  • Ability to travel: No more than 50%
