Who You’ll Work With
The Advanced Services Emerging Technology and Innovation team builds compelling Services and Solutions for Global Enterprise, Service Provider, and Public Sector customers.
ET&I seeks a developer as a part of our Public Sector solution and offer development team with a proven background in architecture, software, networking technologies and implementation. In this role you'll design, build, validate and provide guidance for the Public Sector vertical solutions.
What You’ll Do
Build an On Premise analytics capability to drive compelling insights for customers regarding the health and performance of their networks
Build high performance, highly scalable, complex and distributed systems - end to end
Develop simple solutions to address complex problems.
Bring technical solutions to the leadership team, feedback on solutions recommended, new product ideas with the team through design review, pair programming, code review and tech talk.
Ability to share technical solutions and product ideas with the broader team through design review, code review, proof-of-concepts and show and tell
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms and products
Implement new features in a highly collaborative environment with product managers, UI/UX experts, and software and hardware engineers.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a “take-charge” / “can-do” attitude and is able to demonstrate flexibility and resiliency. Successful candidates must be self-sufficient and be able to work with minimal supervision. Work with geographically distributed teams across different time zones. A full-stack developer who works on metadata driven products, networks and applications engineering end-to-end.
Bachelor's degree (or above) in engineering/computer science with an overall work experience of 5+ years
Programming Languages (Any One): Python, Java
Splunk - machine learning use cases in Splunk using Technology Add-Ons and/or custom apps
Familiarity with ELK
Tableau development experience
Development experience in AWS Environment
Hadoop and MapReduce
Product engineering experience
Be highly flexible and adaptable and demonstrate passion for platform development
Familiar with AWS or other Cloud environments
Knowledge of Python, Docker, Kubernetes
