What You'll Do
In this role you will drive transformation in our Scheduling and Order Management processes. Main focus areas will include driving a portfolio of multi-functional projects, identifying process and/or system improvements, and growing scheduling productivity and metrics performance. This role is responsible for the continuous improvement of key Scheduling metrics, as well as inspiring change through a portfolio of transformation projects in the backlog/scheduling space. This is a high profile center of excellence that has direct impact to the customer experience, supply chain planning, and manufacturing execution.
Who You'll Work With
You will help lead initiatives to drive improvement in Cisco’s order scheduling integrity, with direct impact to metrics, including Lead Time Integrity, Order Entry to Schedule, LAS, LTA, and variance to Request Date. You'll need to work closely with cross-functional partners to understand how their initiatives impact systems and processes, and provide knowledge and insight to the solution to allow flawless integration with the end to end order flow. You'll collect requirements from partners, lead solution design discussions, write business requirements documents, and work with IT to implement solutions.
Who You Are
6 Years meaningful experience in the qualifications below
You understand the direction of the business, the criticality of the customer experience, the future needs of supply chain operations, and the operational and financial impact that supply data and order scheduling has on the business and be able to make intelligent decisions and take well though-out risks
Have deep understanding of all aspects of end-to-end Order Fulfillment process, including Planning, Order Booking, Order Scheduling, Backlog Management, Production, and Logistics
Have hands-on experience in Kinaxis Rapid Response and Oracle 11i / R12. Ideally, with Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP), and Global Order Promising (GOP) modules
Deep understanding of different scheduling methods, including lead-time based, supply-based, CTP, ATP, etc.
Knowledgeable about different fulfillment methods such as Configure to Order, Build to Stock, ODM, etc… and the different requirements of each Education
4 year degree with a preference for an advanced degree such as an MBA
