What You'll Do

You'll design visual content and presentations for the Chairman and CEO for use across multiple platforms and audiences. This role is responsible for creating compelling, original, executive-level visual content for internal and external audiences, working closely with the Chairman and CEO, executive leadership team, the broader corporate communications community and other key stakeholders across the company. You will help tell the Cisco story in the most compelling and aesthetically surprising way possible.

Who You'll Work With

As part of CEO Communications team, you will work closely with our Global Communications partners, the Executive Leadership team, the Office of the Chairman and CEO, as well as other partners across the company. The CEO Communications team is focused, fast-paced, adaptable and always looking for fun and creative ideas. We use data and storytelling to communicate our company vision and strategy to internal and external audiences.

Who You Are

You are a modern and creative thinker with a proven track record of graphic design and art direction for public speaking engagements and the web, particularly for the marketing of major brands; a strong knowledge of interactive creative development processes; and experience developing creative solutions. You are curious, innovative and collaborative, and have an understanding of the technology industry and business strategy. You are passionate about simplifying complex ideas into beautiful design. You are inspired by design in all forms and understand what it takes to deliver the most compelling presentations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design all presentations for Chairman and CEO

  • Solve complex ideas with simple yet progressive design solutions

  • Execute projects with thoughtful and elevated design

  • Understand design and typographic fundamentals and provide new and exciting design solutions and POV

  • Collaborate with executive communications team and creative partners to concept and create innovative design ideas that can live across channels and platforms

  • Help build relationships with cross-functional partners to ensure strategic objectives are met

  • Communicate effectively with other team members to develop collaboration and trust

  • Ensure Cisco branding is maintained across all business initiatives

  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and meet very tight deadlines

Minimum Qualification

You have 8+ years of visual design experience and proven skills and experience in:

  • Visual storytelling and messaging

  • Executive communications

  • Conceptual design

  • Art Direction

  • Motion Design

  • HTML/CSS

  • Experience in Keynote, PowerPoint, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Experience taking feedback and input and coming up with solutions that keep the integrity of the ideas

  • Portfolio should feature creative development of interactive experiences as well as digital products

  • College degree; BA or BFA preferred in Graphic Design or Communication Design

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in the enterprise software industry is a big plus

  • Experience with web-related technologies including HTML and CSS

  • Print production knowledge

  • Experience with video/motion graphics

  • Illustration skills
