What You’ll Do
HANA is a growing platform at Cisco, with several critical business capabilities on the roadmap. As a hands-on HANA Architect you will help accelerate the adoption of HANA by implementing standards, reviewing code and models to ensure alignment to standards, evangelizing and enforcing best practices with the cross functional development teams, leading POCs on new capabilities by SAP to meet the growing business needs and by working with the team to improve platform health.

All of this combined with you domain and design expertise and engagement management for data and analytics solutions, especially for the SAP platforms, makes you a phenomenal fit for our team.
Minimum Requirements include:
BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related major PLUS 15 years IT experience in increasing technical responsibilities. MS degree preferred.
4-5 years Hands on HANA Architect experience
Deep understanding in SAP HANA data modeling using Calculation Views (Graphical and Scripted) as well as Virtual Data Models, HANA Data Provisioning and HANA security.
Experience in design and development of BI tools like BO, Tableau etc. on HANA.
Successful track record in performing technical evaluation, conducting planning sessions, defining technical roadmaps, creating Infrastructure design guidelines, and defining the strategic IT initiatives for the technology platform.
Proven leadership skills in growing a team of HANA resources; ability to learn, share and implement best practices across platforms, participate in sharing his/her expertise on HANA at technical seminars, and be willing to drive HANA growth initiatives.
Configuration and leadership skills in leading projects that include administration of SAP HANA, HANA Security Model Design, Smart Data Integration and Hadoop, Sizing & Config, DynamicTiering etc.
