WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll be provided a unique opportunity to have a significant impact in the future direction of Corporate Development within Cisco’s powerhouse Mergers and Acquisitions organization -- We have completed over 200 acquisitions in the past 23 years.

This role will allow you to lay the data foundation for M&A at Cisco. Your role will include responsibilities in architectural strategy, design and development. You will utilize your excellent leadership skills as you drive the team from conception through implementation. As a result of this opportunity, you will gain tremendous experience in working with Cisco’s enterprise and understand what’s “under the hood” within Cisco’s Mergers & Acquisitions organization.

On a day-to-day basis, you will collaborate with an extraordinary team of acquisition practitioners to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve a software platform designed for Cisco’s Strategy Office and Corporate Development Integration professionals.

WHO YOU ARE

You have experience leading a team of globally dispersed software developers within an Agile framework.

  • You will use your dynamic personality and excellent social skills to clearly communicate “the art of the possible” with your project teams, stakeholders, and executive sponsors.

  • You have the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and visa versa and have a track record of delivering outstanding work on tight schedules.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

  • 2+ years’ experience conducting code reviews, merges and deployments with globally distributed teams?

  • 1+ years’ experience in ideation, design, storyboarding, and overall UX development

  • 2+ years’ experience working with RESTful APIs and micro-services

  • 2+ years Full stack experience with MEAN technologies such as Angular JS, Express JS, Node JS, Mongo DB

  • Fundamental understanding of UX and strong front-end knowledge such as AngularJS, HTML, CSS, jQuery, XML, JSON (2+ years)

  • Fundamental understanding of Data Modeling and Analytics Platforms (2+ years)

  • Fundamental understanding of User Management & Notification Frameworks (1+ years)

  • Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.. (2+ years)

OPTIMAL:

Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and 2+ years’ experience with Angular 2 WHY CISCO
