What You’ll do:
As a Product and Solutions Marketing Manager for Cisco Service Provider Marketing in Network Automation, you will be responsible for designing and implementing global marketing strategies aimed at driving awareness and demand generation, messaging and collateral development targeting sales, channel and customers. You lead new product introduction within a wide range of network automation products.
You have a deep understanding of the Enterprise and/or Service Provider networking market, customer needs, and the ability to creatively position and differentiate technical solutions to strategic decision makers as well as the field and channel.
You will be responsible for working with a Senior Marketing Manager to:
Create a global, cross-functional marketing plan
Develop product messaging and positioning given an understanding of customer needs, market trends and the competitive landscape; ensure alignment with all relevant corporate messaging
Creation of foundational-marketing materials, including customer- and field-facing product collateral
Drive social media marketing activities, as appropriate, including Cisco blog posts, Facebook and/or Twitter postings, and YouTube videos.
Building strategic product communications plan to ensure consistent messaging and appropriate frequency across all touch-points, including field and channel teams, executives, press and analysts, and customers/prospects.
Represent product teams in major corporate initiatives and campaigns, ensuring that all relevant products are appropriately included in overarching messaging, as well as all relevant outbound materials.

You are an experienced marketer or sales engineer and with extensive experience in the networking industry. You have a deep understanding of the network industry landscape and the challenges and opportunities presented to partners in this time of digital transformation.
You're a skilled writer and communicator who can craft messages that inspire and engage. You understand data-driven digital marketing and why it’s so important to today’s business – for anyone. You’ve helped execute modern marketing campaigns before, focusing on customizing messages to multiple channel and distribution personas. You are someone who is good at multitasking; you can calmly adapt to the changes that happen with new product introductions and launches. You are creative and love working with people. You are also an effective collaborator who is comfortable working in a highly matrixed, cross-functional environment with many stakeholders at various levels of the organization. With many things coming at you, you can expertly prioritize and maintain focus on the things that will add the most value to the business.
Customer facing experience in technical sales or marketing.
3+ years of marketing experience with a focus on messaging and positioning in network engineering
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or related field)
Some travel required (<20%)
Excellent presentation skills
