What You'll Do

Cisco is making big moves in cyber security. With over 7B in acquisitions in the last 5 years, we’re investing heavily to secure the future. The security marketing team is looking for a creative and dynamic product marketing rock star to work with the Advanced Threat Solutions product managers, engineering, technical marketing, sales, and sales engineering teams focused on driving Cisco's endpoint security business. As a subject matter expert you'll be responsible for messaging and positioning, creating collateral to support go-to-market functions including product launch, sales enablement, and demand generation. This position focuses on understanding the complex technical functionality of Endpoint security, as well as complimentary Cisco solutions and services, and translating those into business benefits and outcomes.

You love to:

  • Develop compelling and differentiated messaging and positioning, and turn that into creative collateral that drives market awareness including delivering high-impact sales and enablement tools such as videos, white papers, presentations, executive briefs, etc.

  • Be a subject matter expert and spokesperson, communicating with both internal and external audiences.

  • Develop and deliver channel training materials covering industry trends, value proposition, and competitive positioning. There will be a lot of presentations!

  • Be the subject matter expert working cross functionally with teams to develop go-to-market programs and integrated marketing campaigns for our solutions/services across key markets (including email and digital marketing, webinars, events, speaking opportunities and PR initiatives).

Who You'll Work With

You will partner with Sales, Product Management, and Technical Marketing on incorporating new capabilities and integrations into product messaging based on business value. You will also work collaboratively with sales, sales engineering, and other product marketing teams to develop joint strategy and go to market plans for joint messaging and sales tools with other product lines

Who You Are

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of technology marketing experience, ideally in cyber security

  • Stellar written & verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work within a matrixed environment to rapidly produce results

  • Understanding of endpoint security, Software As A Service (SaaS), and/or Network security is helpful

  • Ability to travel up to 15%

  • Technical acumen – the ability to translate technical features and functionality into business outcomes and value

  • Bachelor's degree minimum. Master's degree in business/marketing area helpful
