The Cisco Refresh organization is like a small startup and consists of a dynamic team that is responsible for all aspects of the business such as Engineering, NPI, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Operations, IT, Sales, and Marketing.

What You'll Do

As part of the Cisco Refresh Engineering team, you will be responsible for enabling and sustaining remanufacturing capability for parts across Cisco’s entire product portfolio. More specifically, you will:

  • Repair Enablement: Prioritize parts for repair enablement.Work with contract repair vendors to plan, execute, and monitor progress of repair enablement.

  • Manage all repair process sustaining activities such as ECO changes, part shortages, qualifying alternate material and finding alternate sources, script updates, diagnostic and s/w updates.

  • Provide guidance on product upgrades, conversions, and alternate parts

  • Review and approve manufacturing BOM contents.

  • Interact with Test Engineers in Service, Manufacturing, Contract Repair sites, NPIEs, and other business functions. Interface with Engineering on a regular basis regarding technical issues, testability, and manufacturability. Interact with vendors regarding test solution and deployment.

  • Communicate project & repair enablement status updates to senior management.

  • Maintain scorecards and provides updates to repair vendors at MORs an QBRs.

Who You Are

  • Degree in Engineering required, MS or MBA a plus.

  • Strong technical background.

  • 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing test environment ideal; can relate to processes and products.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work with remote teams.

  • Great MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.

  • Good presentation skills.
