What You'll Do

You design, develop, test, and debug state of the art software modules that allow integration of Hyperflex storage with Windows Hyper-V eco system. The development shall range from managing/exposing SMB storage, programmatically controlling full life cycle of Virtual machines, Failover cluster, snapshot, clones to all the way integrating with SCVMM, SCOM, and SMI-S.

As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for providing technical thought leadership and mentoring to the junior members of the team.

Who You'll Work With

You will work with product management on writing detailed functional specifications for the features. You will work with various other systems management engineers to integrate your software modules into the product. You will work with QA on test plans, and on defect fixing. You will work with product support to interface with customers using your product. You will collaborate with other members of your team and cross-functional team to develop and integrate your components, and enhance your expertise as a systems software engineer.

You will have the opportunity to work and learn in a fast paced environment with a team of talented engineers, developing state of the art software in the Hyper-Converged Infrastructure space.

  • Software design and development experience in systems management/orchestration layer is required.

  • You have a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with preferably 3-5 years of distributed software development experience.

  • Must have a strong background in C

  • Experience in developing storage level protocols is plus - NFS, iSCSI, SCSI, RDMA

  • Strong background in Linux user mode development especially storage, file system software will be a plus.

  • Very good communication and team player.
