What You'll Do
Work will involve development and sustenance of CPS products. You will be responsible for the following:
Development or sustenance of the product w.r.t CPS customer solutions
Engagement with customers on need basis
Trouble shooting customer issues and providing support
Validating customer patches by providing work around etc.
Work with Offshore development teams in solving customer solutions
Job may require travel up to 15% of the time

You will be part of the Mobile Core Business Unit, which was created to focus on the transformation and to enable mobile operators to make the most out of the challenges, and opportunities it presents. Cisco Policy Suite (CPS) for Mobile is a carrier-grade policy, charging, and subscriber data management solution. It helps service providers rapidly create and bring services to market, deliver a positive user experience, and optimize network resources. It also generates monetization opportunities across 3G, 4G, and LTE access networks as well as IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) service architectures. Cisco Policy Suite provides an intelligent control-plane solution. It includes southbound interfaces to various policy control enforcement functions (PCEFs) in the network, and northbound interfaces to OSS/BSS and subscriber applications, IMSs, and web applications. Policy Suite modules are implemented individually or deployed as an integrated end-to-end policy, charging, and service-creation solution.
Who You Are
You will have Good understanding of Unix/Linux Kernel and a deep understanding of Operating systems, data structures and awareness about efficient algorithms
3GPP Diameter, Radius technologies experience and familiarity
MongoDB experience or exposure and familiarity
Familiarity or hands-on experience with Kubernetes and/or other container services
Our minimum requirements for this role:
8+ years of hands-on experience in programming in any of C, C++, Java and/or Python
Basic to intermediate level understanding of networking concepts, L2 and L3 protocols
3GPP Diameter, Radius technologies working experience and deep familiarity a must
Knowledge and experience on Openstack and/or VMWare deployment and/or debugging is a must
Background in design, development and unit-testing of a feature independently
Systems level thinking for any task given and the ability to think deep in terms of scalability, performance etc
Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting under Linux/Unix environments
Ability to automate test cases relevant to the feature developed is a huge plus Additional desired skills
Familiarity with ELK/Grafana/Prometheus tools
Experience with working as part of AGILE/SCRUM teams is desirable
CI/CD exposure and familiarity
