Our Service Provider Network Automation team is looking for a Technical Marketing Engineer. This is an exciting role which includes working closely with several aspects of our business;
· Engineering on features, functions and requirements
· Product Marketing on collateral development and future plans
· Sales on product and technology education as well as design
· Customers on solutions and design
For this role, we expect you to have a solid background in network design, routing protocols and transport technologies as they relate to critical infrastructures. This includes concepts such as ISIS, MPLS, Segment Routing, RSVP and Traffic Engineering.
Further, we expect that you have experience with Linux, Containers and Hypervisors, as well as programming skills and scripting knowledge.
Past experience of Network Automation and Optimization tools is a plus.
For this job level, we are looking for a highly self-motivated individual with good organizational, collaborative and leadership skills.
The candidate must also possess presentation skills and have an ability to explain complex constructs in a structured manor, both verbally and in writing.
In this role, you will often work in ad-hoc teams under time-pressure to deliver outstanding results.
This job will involve travel and collaboration with teams in remote time-zones.
