What You'll Do

The Manufacturing Operations Engineering (MOE) Team is seeking a Test Engineer (TE) to lead Supply Chain Test in Groundbreaking Programs across internal teams, manufacturing regions and EMS/ODM sites. In the TE position you will be the key interface between the Technology & Quality organization and Product operations to develop Testing Strategies, Identify new Testing Equipment for new & existing products and deploy them to our regional operations teams & EMS partners. In addition you will be versed in network strategies and how they can improve and impact our Testing Platform.

Responsibilities

  • You will execute test Strategy Planning, Development and Review

  • You will give support to Regions & oversee with Product Ops & Technology &Quality organizations.

  • You will develop Process and Training Documents

  • You will develop Audit Processes for Site Reviews and Conduct Audits

  • You will participate in Test Strategy issues and work with Technology &Quality to prioritize & Resolve.

  • You will identify Platform Stabilization issues and Work with Technology &Quality to Resolve.

  • You will participate in defect reduction and process engineering meeting and teams.

  • You will work with the support Security Team

Who You'll Work with

In this role you will be the key coordination interface between Technology &Quality organization, Product Ops., and Global Manufacturing Operations Regional teams to operationalize Constellation and Security Extranet agenda.

Who You Are

You will have a BS degree in Engineering or equivalent plus 5-7 years related experience in Manufacturing and/or with Networking technology. You are skilled in Software Programming / High level language proficiency (Python) and experienced in software operating systems (Windows, Unix) and applications (ex: MS Office).

Additionally, you will need to understand network technology (CCNA a plus), have experience in PCBA & System manufacturing, good communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), and the ability to multitask with little direction/oversight from manager. Project management skills strongly desired as well as team building capability and ability to evaluate quality/reliability performance data. Prior experience in testing enterprise applications a plus.
