Thermal Engineer Job Description:
Senior Thermal Engineering Consultant is a specialist to take on the challenge to design and compare our future cooling concepts, on detailed design level and on system level.
The position will also include responsibility of Thermal analysis of various telecom equipment.
We expect the candidate to have more than 8-12 years experiences on thermal design of telecom equipment or equivalent and that this have given the candidate a thorough and deep understanding of cooling of electronics.
Experience with Flotherm or other CFD modeling tools used in the electronics industry is required. The successful candidate must have experience working on system design, have an understanding of component requirements, and be able to provide thermal design guidance to a mechanical engineering team in order to ensure that all of the product thermal design requirements are met.
Experience selecting fans, heat sinks and other thermal components and ability to work closely with thermal vendors is a requirement.
We also expect an understanding of conceptual design of equipment and comparison of various thermal solutions in both the cost and the functionality perspective.
For this position we value understanding of the ‘platform, concept & product portfolio’ discussions that take place during the initial phases of a product lifecycle.
We require Masters or most likely a PhD in thermal engineering or equivalent background
We believe that this individual have several patents and have produced several international papers. We expect the person to be a leader in Electronic cooling.

The candidate should have a high focus on delivering high quality work
Experience with Liquid cooling is a plus.
The candidate should have a strong feeling and interest innovative solutions, innovative technologies and for product development and also to share experiences with others in the team and have a proven capability to pursue creative solutions.
